Thistle Threads has been collaborating with museums with important textile collections to produce kits inspired from their objects for both teaching and sale. These kits contain unique materials and techniques drawn from the close study of the objects. Each kit sales price contains a percentage royalty for the museum.
- To date over $3,800 has been raised in royalties for the Peabody Essex Museum and Winterthur though the sales of these kits.
