Description:
On a trip to London years ago, I had a wonderful day combing he halls at the Victorian and Albert Museum. There, I found a small, very faded drawstring bag in the costume collection. The bag reminded me of a spot sampler in a unique drop shape. The main motif on this bag, the flowerpot, was taken from the antique piece. I have added my own motifs around the edges and reinterpreted the motifs to make extra accessories for you to use as you please. The bag can be used as a purse or for your needlework tools. The stitches used are cross-stitch, tent stitch, rice stitch, eyelet, and queen stitch. A combanion piece, a lipstitck case, was published in the Fall 2002 and Winter 2003 issues of Fine Lines and uses the leftover materials from this kit.

Kit Contents:
40 ct linen in Pearled Barley, Au Ver a Soie 100/3 silk thread, wooden tassel beads, silken ribbons from Thread Gatherer.
