Description:
"The Lord will guard your goings out and your coming in" is an apt phrase for all those who travel far from home. This piece was inspired by the lovely packaging for a set of perfumed soaps. I thought that the inside would make a wonderful pincushion with pockets on the sides to hold needlework tools. The outside is cross-stitched over two with tent stitch over one details.
Less than 175 are left of this kit. A portion of the funds from this kit will be used to help support an exhibition of English needlework to be held at the Peabody Essex Museum this fall.

36 ct. Light Exemplar Linen, Au Ver a Soie 100/3 silk thread, Silken ribbons from Thread Gatherer, Mokuba ribbons, and blue lining silk. Not included are any cardboard, batt and skirtex needed for finishing or decorative button.
