Description:
These blackwork needlework accessories are the perfect way to be introduced to blackwork of the 17th century. Explore a simple goldwork stitch, broad chain, and two silk stitches of the time period. The class will concentrate on the special stitches and the finishing techniques to fabricate the accessories. In addition to the class kit, a CD Rom with pictures of the embroidery and finishing work in process will be used to help the students visualize during class and later at home.
