Description:
This project draws upon the wonderful variety of elaborate monogram letters, which were used to mark linen in the 19th century. The project, presented in a toile box, consists of a handmade fabric basket for your threads, a scissors keep, a needlekeep, a button bag, and a pincushion. Each accessory and the basket are fabricated from a variety of coordinating cotton quilting fabrics in tones of taupe, gold, and earth brown. Each accessory is ‘monogrammed?with an oversized letter and designation, which are framed in chocolate ultrasuede. The project is worked on 36-ct light exemplar linen and Glorianna silk threads.
